Leadership
Dear distinguished delegates and future diplomats, it is with great pride and unwavering enthusiasm that we open the doors of AOALMUN. This conference represents more than a simulation — it is a training ground for the leaders our world urgently needs.
I invite every delegate to bring their full conviction, their deepest research, and their boldest ideas to the floor. The resolutions you draft and the arguments you forge here will shape your capacity to lead for years to come.
Welcome to AOALMUN. Behind every great conference is a team that believes deeply in its mission — and our organizing team has poured extraordinary effort into creating an experience that will exceed your expectations.
We have designed each committee, each agenda item, and each social event with one goal: to give you an environment where you can challenge yourself, connect with peers, and discover what diplomatic leadership truly feels like.

Deliberation & Debate
AOALMUN convenes four distinguished committees, each tasked with addressing critical issues at the forefront of international discourse. Delegates will be assigned based on preferences and experience level.
The Security Council bears primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security. Delegates represent the P5 and elected members, exercising some of the most powerful diplomatic authority in the simulation.
The First Committee of the General Assembly deals with disarmament, global challenges, and threats to peace that affect the international community. All 193 UN member states are represented, making it one of the most dynamic diplomatic arenas.
The Human Rights Council is the principal UN intergovernmental body responsible for promoting and protecting human rights globally. Delegates grapple with complex questions of sovereignty, accountability, and universal dignity.
The International Crisis Committee is AOALMUN's high-intensity fast-paced committee. Delegates must respond to rapidly evolving scenarios in real time, making split-second decisions under pressure. Prior MUN experience strongly recommended.
